Just watched Kataude mashin gâru. It is disgusting to the max. Sadistic humor. The whole film is sadistic. Even the gore is sadistic. Oh… Gore supposed to be sadistic anyway.

If you totally dig pure bloody fun. Go ahead to watch this film. Rated NC-17 in US. I had to skip several parts before I puke out my food. Here’s the trailer:

I sort of laugh a little at the English dialogues actually. For the crazy sadistic bloody humor and the ridiculous amount the gore… Well, I think I’d give this 6/10.

Got cheated by McDonald’s again. I have the tendency of wanting to try something new. And each time McDonald’s roll out something different and brand it with the word new I’ll just walk in knowingly and stupidly and order whatever that’s on their promotion poster.

Kung Fu Panda Feast of Fury. No idea how pandas and spicy food are related but it didn’t matter I guess. I, the silly consumer, just bought a meal. Thought feast of fury would have some panda meat or something. They serve chicken. Cold.

Here’s how it look like. For a great price of 7 bucks, you get 6 spicy nuggets and possibly 8 onion rings. You will trade your fries for the 8 onion rings for trying’s sake.

Miserable quantity. The food is pretty good though. I enjoyed it for less than 10 minutes. Finish the food within ten.

I just watched the film Appleseed (アップルシード) by Shinji Aramaki (荒牧 伸志 Aramaki Shinji) who does design related stuff for Fullmetal Alchemist and one of those Naruto movies. Appleseed or Appurushîdo is a Japanese anime movie. It’s mainly 3D with character arts looking 2D to retain some sort of anime styling.

As usual, the poster:

Appleseed is a film about…

Panda thinking emoticon

Well… It’s an action anime film. The plot is a little… fuzzy. I think it’s about some alternate-human race that can’t reproduce because one scientist didn’t let them. Yeah, shit happens. But anyway, this alternate race and the human race sort of coexist together in one faction. At the more selfish faction, humans did not want this alternate race.

Humans are portrayed as selfish humans in this film (as with many other Japanese science fiction). But ultimate, the protagonist manages (of course) to overturn the situation and peace was eventually restored. This is not a spoiler, it’s one of those things you can deduce once you look at the poster and read the first two lines of the plot summary at the back of the DVD cover. (more…)

I love these scenes and songs together.

We have Kill Bill first. It’s a good film I think, although most of my friends would disagree, but well…

Tomoyasu Hotei: “Battle Without Honor or Humanity” - Kill Bill Vol. 1

Like this song too, Annie Lennox’s Into the West.

4) Annie Lennox: “Into the West” - The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Ghostbusters! Love those expressions. Classic!

3) Ray Parker Jr.: “Ghostbusters” - Ghostbusters

I just watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It doesn’t have that great a rating but it’s really funny!

Indonesia’s YouTube ban has been removed. And the government of Indonesia is doing things right this time (see bold text).

Indonesia Removes YouTube Ban, Brazil Bans Wordpress.com

As it usually goes, it only took a couple of days for Indonesia to remove the countrywide YouTube and MySpace ban, enforced because of the controversial movie Fitna.

Instead of blocking the biggest sites on the net, the Indonesian government now plans to focus on banning the individual pages on YouTube and MySpace which contain the offensive video. (more…)

Indonesian ISP to block YouTube and MySpace? Banning the whole portal just for one video is just like barring our Indonesians from entering Singapore just because one guy is a terrorist.

Indonesian ISPs Block YouTube And MySpace

Another day, another country blocks YouTube (and MySpace, for good measure). According to Gulfnews, five Indonesian ISPs have blocked, on government’s request, YouTube and MySpace because of an anti-Islam film Fitna, created by Dutch filmmaker Geert Wilders. Official ban reason: the movie ‘could disturb relations between faiths.‘

This is not the first time that Fitna has caused controversy; after being rejected by all Dutch TV stations, Wilders simply uploaded the file via LiveLeak. (more…)
