Successful life is about making the right choices. Choose well:

I’ll take the left one. No, no, the right one!

The designer sure took a lot of effort to make this map but the map is not really useful.

The thing about buses is that their stops are quite close to each other and to map out the whole bus track without a physical map as the background just looks too confusing. This map requires an engineering degree.
To me, it’s like an art exhibition in the bus interchange, a welcome change to Mas Selamat posters.
We really should avoid bus maps looking like London Underground’s.
Went to eat at Bukit Batok West area yesterday. It’s been a long time since I went there. Walked around there a little too since I haven’t been ’shopping’. Sadly, this is the best I ever get to shopping - looking at prices in the local supermarket.
Spoted a new playground. This area changed a lot of times. Years ago, there’re sand then slowly they changed and changed. Today, it’s some carpet thingy. No more sand castles for the kids.

Adults can go do some exercises here. More of these stuff in Bukit Batok. I think the town is getting older. The people living here are aging.

The funny thing is that I don’t really see much senior citizen using these machines. But they really should. The gym’s probably tons better but this is free.
As you all know, today is not Mother’s Day. It’s tomorrow but we pretended it’s today. We got our dad along to celebrate too so it became Parents’ Day.

And yup, we went to Sakae Sushi at West Mall to have our dinner.

So many people thought that it’s Mother’s Day today! (more…)
My mom and I were working around at WestMall when something caught our attention. Okay, actually it only caught my attention. Haven’t eaten these since a really long time. According to my mom, it’s called ‘kueh tu tu’ or something. It’s almost like alien food to me.

Bought 5 as you can see. Costs 2SGD.

It taste quite good, quite dry too actually. It’s one of those things that people eat in the 60s, I think.
I got bored of McDonalds’ and the pretty-girl cafeteria and junk food actually.
Ate something different today - zong zai fun. There is this nice lady selling it at the Bukit Batok area and I bought the food from her stall a couple of times.

Quite filling too. Something different. Placed a lot of chilli there as you can see, hahaa… Happy lunching.
On a side note, there is this old man who always brings his dog down at noon time. Always wanted to ask the old man if I could take a picture of his dog. I actually intended to ask today, but… his dog is not around. Another day I guess.
