My odd observation

Well, somewhat coincidentally, all my top visited posts are posts that asks a question in the titles. This could mean either people get attracted to questions basically or this blog is attracting people who wants to learn something. I like to think it is the latter although I wouldn’t say the two are mutually exclusive.

I started this blog to write about what I learn with the hopes that it would benefit some other people as well. It didn’t quite work out as I get lazier to blog and the work start piling up on my table, which, by the way I can no longer see the surface of.

I shall end this post here and get back to clearing my backlogs. I’m a little more inspired than usual. Will keep you updated on stuff. Cheers!

Mac users steered to pricier hotels

So if you’re a Mac user to get the more expensive hotels. Very smart. I am honored to be perceived as the more affluent.

On Orbitz, Mac Users Steered to Pricier Hotels

Orbitz Worldwide Inc. has found that people who use Apple Inc.’s Mac computers spend as much as 30% more a night on hotels, so the online travel agency is starting to show them different, and sometimes costlier, travel options than Windows visitors see.

The Orbitz effort, which is in its early stages, demonstrates how tracking people’s online activities can use even seemingly innocuous information—in this case, the fact that customers are visiting from a Mac—to start predicting their tastes and spending habits.

This is one site I will avoid shopping. Sorry, I’m a bloody cheapskate.

Baby steps to popularize now has a Technorati page. I’m trying to get to be popular without using my other blog to pull visitors.

I think this would be a good chance to learn about internet marketing and search engine optimization. Today this blog has 4 unique visitors. Hopefully it would grow soon. I’ll blog about the results of the progress of this blog. I distance myself from making use of my other blogs or my friends’ blogs. I wanted this to be an experiment. It will show interesting results.

And so far, this is my first step – get my blog on Technorati.

Spastic face above.
